AURA is designed to keep your voice private.

Local recordings and exports stay on your device unless you choose to share them. Account, purchase, and voice-agent features use limited server-side data only when needed to provide those features.

1. What AURA Does

AURA is a voice experience app that lets you visualize voice through the AURA Orb, record and replay voice locally, export videos, and talk to approved voice agents using Aura Minutes.

2. Local Recordings and Exports

Voice recordings, visual replays, and exported videos are created and stored locally on your device. We do not upload your local recordings or exports to our servers.

  • Microphone audio is processed on device for visualization.
  • Recordings are saved only when you explicitly record.
  • Exports are created only when you choose to export.
  • You control deleting, moving, or sharing those files.

3. Account Features

Some AURA features require Sign in with Apple, including Aura Minutes, purchases, and voice-agent session access. When you sign in, we may store account identifiers needed to keep your account and minutes connected.

This may include:

  • Your Apple user identifier for AURA
  • Your email address if Apple provides it
  • Whether Apple provided a private relay email
  • Device registration records used to link your device to your account

4. Aura Minutes and Purchases

Aura Minutes are used for paid voice-agent sessions. To verify and prevent duplicate purchases, we store limited purchase records such as product identifiers, Apple transaction identifiers, minutes added, app version, build number, and transaction status.

Payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your credit card number or full payment details.

5. Voice-Agent Sessions

When you start an approved voice-agent session, AURA may create server-side records needed to launch the session, track session state, connect the session to your device or account, deduct Aura Minutes, and provide session history.

Voice-agent sessions may use third-party voice infrastructure to provide real-time conversation. Audio sent during those sessions is used to provide the session you requested.

6. QR Codes

AURA supports QR codes for agent launch, purchase flows, web confirmation, and minute transfers. When you scan or confirm an AURA QR code, we may record limited security and audit information such as QR id, action type, account/device ids, timestamp, IP address, user agent, and coarse location derived from IP address when available.

7. Device and Diagnostic Data

AURA may store limited technical metadata needed to operate the app, such as app version, build number, platform, device model, language, install date, and request security metadata.

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs and do not sell personal data.

8. How We Use Information

We use limited server-side data to:

  • Authenticate your account
  • Maintain your Aura Minutes balance
  • Verify purchases and prevent duplicate crediting
  • Launch and track approved voice-agent sessions
  • Protect against abuse, replay attacks, and unauthorized access
  • Provide support when you contact us

9. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers required to operate AURA, such as Apple for Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases, and voice infrastructure providers when you choose to start a voice-agent session.

10. Your Choices

  • You can use local recording and export features without sharing local recordings with us.
  • You can revoke microphone access in iOS or macOS Settings.
  • You can delete local recordings and exports from your device.
  • You can contact us to request help with account-related data.
