Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using AURA ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.
AURA is provided by Educación Global Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") as open-source software. These Terms apply to all users of the Software, whether downloaded from official repositories or compiled from source code.
2. License Grant
AURA is distributed as open-source software. The specific license terms are included in the repository. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software in accordance with the open-source license terms.
Key permissions include:
- Use the Software for personal or commercial purposes
- Modify the source code for your own use
- Distribute modified versions under the same license terms
- View, study, and learn from the source code
3. Use of the Software
3.1 Permitted Use
You may use AURA for:
- Real-time audio visualization and performance
- Recording and exporting visualization videos
- Live streaming with visual overlays
- Creative projects and artistic expression
- Educational and research purposes
3.2 Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent any security features
- Remove or alter copyright notices or attribution
- Use the Software in a way that could damage or impair the service
4. Audio Recording and Permissions
AURA requires access to your device's microphone to capture audio for visualization. You are solely responsible for:
- Obtaining necessary permissions to record audio in your jurisdiction
- Complying with privacy laws and regulations regarding audio recording
- Informing other parties when recording their voices or performances
- Managing and securing any recorded audio files
Important: All audio processing happens locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your audio data.
5. Exported Content
You retain all rights to videos exported from AURA. However, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for the content of exported videos
- You must respect copyright and intellectual property rights
- You must comply with platform-specific terms when sharing exported content
- We are not liable for how you use or distribute exported content
6. No Warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use the Software.
8. System Requirements
AURA requires specific hardware and software to function properly:
- macOS: macOS 13.0 or later with Metal-capable GPU
- iOS: iOS 17.0 or later with A12 Bionic or newer
- Microphone: Access to device microphone
- Storage: Sufficient space for exported videos
Performance may vary based on device specifications. We recommend using modern hardware for optimal experience.
9. Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Update or modify the Software at any time
- Change these Terms with notice to users
- Discontinue features or support for older versions
Continued use of the Software after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes.
10. Third-Party Components
AURA uses Apple frameworks including:
- Metal for GPU rendering
- CoreAudio for audio processing
- AVFoundation for recording and export
- Accelerate for performance optimization
These frameworks are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Use of the Software implies agreement to Apple's developer terms where applicable.
11. Privacy
AURA is designed with privacy in mind. Local recordings and exports remain on your device unless you choose to share them. Account, purchase, QR, and voice-agent features may require limited server-side data to operate.

13. Governing Law

14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Educación Global Inc. regarding the use of AURA and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
